Someone a while ago told me that you said hi to me via a facebook comment (or something?) and I never knew how to say hello back. Then, I was reading one of my friends wordpress’s who’s studying in Rome and somehow I found yours, so it’s only fate that I found you and can formally say hi back!

i also haven’t listened in forever. and agree that the grammys were a shit choice of how to announce it.

BUT, i do think they still have an audience. as weird as it sounds, they were one of the biggest bands going when they called it quits. i got tickets to their giant tour with green day, and it was packed. their tour before that was also packed with kids. their old fans will want to hear it, and kids will remember them as the funny dudes who ran around naked in videos.

i personally will go along with whatever they do because of “dude ranch.” i listened to that damn thing way too much in high school…

i also just found a ticket stub the other night while going through old boxes from their show at the U of M way back when. it was a terrible show, i think right before dude ranch came out and they had their first drummer still.
